Review: Second Advanced Workshop

26.1.2014, Brussels, Belgium

On January 16, 2014, S3C project coordinator Erik Laes (VITO) attended the second ADVANCED workshop in Brussels.

The ambition of the ADVANCED project is to increase the understanding on how to deploy efficiently Active Demand (AD). What mainly differentiates the ADVANCED project from S3C is that the ADVANCED methodology is based on the collection of quantitative data concerning all relevant factors that might influence consumer behaviour coming from pilots all around Europe where the interaction between consumers and AD programs has been tested.

Moreover, ADVANCED will acquire information also through surveys on residential consumers that have not participated directly in AD programs in order to verify awareness, understanding and attitudes in Europe about the role of AD programs (such as the Control group).

For a list of the workshop topics and more information on the ADVANCED project, visit the ADVANCED website.
